Leadership Tools Showcase Leading with Ambition (Shawn Dawley)

AMBITION (noun) – an ardent desire for rank, fame, or power; desire to achieve a particular end. (Merriam-Webster, 2024)

To some, “ambition” may be what fuels a noble calling.  For others, it is a dirty word.  Leaders are required to guide and inspire teams comprised of people whose ambitions will vary, in both reasoning and intensity.  In this showcase, we will explore the difference between intrinsic and external motivations and a tool leaders can use to harness the individual ambitions of their followers to create a common positive ambition for the organization.
